About Me
My Name is Hailey Montminy, I am a Senior here at the University of New England studying nursing. I chose nursing because growing up I had many family and friends that are nurses and growing up with them has shaped who I am. I also have always loved helping people so when I was deciding on what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, nursing was what I thought about. I was fortunate enough to study aboard my first semester of my sophomore year in Tangier, Morocco. I was able to travel a lot while I was still keeping up my grades. I was able to travel to many places including Spain, France, England, the Sahara dessert and many other places. While abroad I was able to help at the local orphanage and help care for the children there once a week.
Right now I am leaning towards ER nursing and maybe one day ending up in travel nursing as well but I am open to any aspect of nursing and am ready to get into the field. I am really enjoying getting to experience all of the different clinical aspects and learning something new everyday. I am from Hooksett, New Hampshire, where I work as a CNA at a nursing home.
I built this site using WordPress in the beginning of freshman year and have been updating and working through this until senior year.
