In module 3 it focused on knowledge. The module went over things like nursing knowledge and what nurses do and learn throughout the years to provide same and effective care. It went of an overall knowledge for nursing and a focused knowledge that is needed. This module has helped me realize that there is a bigger picture to nursing and that I’ll be learning something new everyday. It went over that as we get the experience of nursing then the knowledge will come along, it also went over that the classes we take along the way aren’t just something to take to get over with, I will be using what we learn in every class in some way, shape, or form throughout my nursing carrier. This has helped me realize that even though I might be struggling with the concepts of some of the things we go over in the classes we take, I will have to use them and if I don’t understand right now what’s going on eventually I will understand and that I will also always be learning something new.

In module 4 it focused on priorities and having a good framework for school and nursing. This module went over the priority of nursing judgments to help make certain actions, it also went over the NCLEX. The module went of the frameworks that nurses should use, it went over that there are many different frameworks that are used and that the nurse has to see which framework best fits that situation at hand. Going through the module made me slightly nervous for whats to come but at the same time it helped , realize that there are so many people to help in situations and that we will be prepared with different tools. It went over how these frameworks aid in decision making and some of those frameworks included Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs, which is something we’ve been taught before. This module helped me realize that even though situations can be stressful and nursing is a hard thing to do, we’ll be prepared because we are being taught everything we need and there are still things out there that’ll help us even if we do get stuck.
