When taking the Pharmacology Practice A exam, I noticed that even though I knew what the medications were, or I had heard of them before I didn’t know them in as much detail as I thought I would/ I needed to. I took the exam in a spot that was quiet, and I don’t feel like I got distracted but I do feel like I should have studied the topic more than I did. Many of the medications and remediations that I did were centered around adverse effects and contraindications of medications. I know that many medications have the same adverse effects but knowing which ones go with which medication is harder for me so next time and going forward maybe making flash cards of the medications or even just having a document for what the medications are and common adverse reactions.
