One solid piece of feedback was that I put in a fact about the Robert E Lee statue that was removed in New Orleans. The feedback was that the statue was removed so it was erased and that goes against what Kaphar was talking about. I can change this in my paper by either adding a different example of statues being amended or I can say what the benefit would have been if we kept the statue and added something to it. The second piece of feedback that I got was that my conclusion didn’t really tie back to my thesis. I will integrate the feedback into my next draft by making sure the conclusion and thesis are tied back together and everything is repackaged. The last feedback from my peer mates is that I need to make sure that I read through my draft out loud. There was grammatical errors that could’ve been fixed it I read through it as well as read it out loud. The feedback from professor Spain was that I need to work in Southan more because he is a key part of the prompt and it needs to be “front and center”. I can work this into my paper by looking back at the article we read and add more of Southan into the paper and maybe add him into a Barclay’s paragraph.
