The art of nursing
I chose this image when talking about the art of nursing because nursing is an art. The word art means an expression of human creative skill which is typically in a visual form but with nursing it is a creative use of oneself. Nursing is an art there are many forms of nursing and like art nursing helps people just in a different way. Nurses are important to have just like art is, without nurses we wouldn’t have the care and the compassionate that comes with nurses during a visit at hospital. This picture shows both art and the nurse, the picture is about how nurses are hero’s. During this pandemic nurses are stronger and are really the unsaid hero’s of all of this. These people go out and do their job everyday and risk their lives helping others. This piece of art shows how strong nurses are just like superman who is a hero.

This is a great image which is why it should be credited! However, I believe your interpretation of the artist’s work is an accurate one, and one should be proud to be part of the profession. Remember the courage and honor that it takes to care for others regardless of the situation. Nice work!
This was a great post, I really like the image you chose to display nursing as an art. Overall I agree with you that nurses are important to have because without them, we wouldn’t receive the care and compassion that nurses give us during hospital visits. This somewhat relates to my post where I discuss how nurses are a special breed and that when it comes to caring for children, are able to give the correct response to such a young population. Well done!
Your piece is very different from mine, but your rationale for choosing this piece is very similar to my own. There are many small details in this piece and each one of them is significant to show the viewer that there are many intricacies of being a nurse, but the overall picture is one of strength which is similar to my piece. Nurses are on the front lines of the pandemic and more now than ever nurses are being called upon to save lives much like superman.
