Dr. Angela Davis has spent years trying to eradicate social inequalities and injustice, she has come a very far way with all the changes she has made. Two of the people that we have been talking about in class are Kenji Yoshino and Anne Hallward. They have been talking about shame and the new civil rights. Many of their point would go with Davis’s point of injustice and social inequality, they may not be as straight forward as Davis’s points but they would help her argument and some of the points even go against what she says. Some of the points that Yoshino makes like the point of how we need to think of laws with the idea that we are all a whole and not that there are different groups that may matter more than others. There are many ways that we can help eradicate inequalities and injustices, they may be in different ways that people usually think about, talking about your injustice and your stories is even a way to help do something with this movement, such as Hallward talks about with being vulnerable and tell your silent stories.
